A dude from Abba blasting filesharers/downloaders for being stingy and not paying for the material they steal.
What they don’t get, is that a big big chunk of the material they create is CRAP. Did the Dark Knight dvd suffer because the movie got leaked online? I will not go watch or buy “The House Bunny”, but I will do both for “Young People Fuc**ng”.
People do buy, people do spend. Go to the average working geek’s house and see if their main entertaintment unit is a big ass laptop on their living room, it isnt, its a big freaking LCD screen with Blue Ray connected to it. See what movies they own, I guarantee you they will not say they’re mostly a waste of their money.
Its not about being stingy. Its about better spent money. If they made good products, if you offer good services, if you create good materials, we *will* spend money on it.
On that note, I hope The Pirate Bay wins.
