So, if I can’t be bothered to wish people a happy birthday on Facebook (even when Facebook tells me it’s their birthday) should i really be friends with them? Or is this another way of pointing out the fact that Facebook has made me “reconnect” with people I never wished to see or hear from again?
Although I guess for some having over 300 friends is a true testament to how popular they are..ah, Facebook bringing out the high school popularity contest in us all.
It’s early and I haven’t had coffee so not sure what these thoughts are.
Ugh. I know. Again I am having a love/hate relationship with facebook again. I have too many friends that I really don’t talk to. But unlike you, I like having them as friends because I can see what they’re up to and whatever. I just don’t want them to see what I am up to.
I have one of my friends list with about 70% of my friends in it, and I have my privacy settings turned up so that they see barely anything. Because see, my problem is not weather I talk to them… I just don’t want that 70% of people to see what my clsoe group of friends say/do on my profile/wall/pictures.
Truth is, I’m seriusly considering creating a facebook account just for elementary/highschool friends, aunts, uncles, younger cousins and anyone who I is not directly involved in my everyday life.
But then, I get into a problem… what about those random people that you meet through facebook? or people you date? or people you dated.
Sigh.
