I don’t know why it seemed like so many people didn’t like The Village because it’s the only M. Night Shyamalan movie I’ve enjoyed as a whole, without complaint.
Finally going to watch it for a second time tonight.
Meh, I enjoy his movies. They might have an aparently predictible twist at the end, and they might feature cames of himself that might not be necessary; but as entertaintment, they work. Signs is still one of my favourite suspense and alien movies and The Sixth Sense was amazing, Unbreakable had a really interesting premise, if not for the fact that Bruce Willis is kinda flat as an actor.
