Wow. I’ve just spent the last 7 hours on the move between stores buying items I deemed necessary for occupying a new apartment. Before I list some of the stuff I bought, let me get this out. Shopping when you don’t own a car: worst idea ever. Its like poking myself in the eye with a fork repeatedly. Not pleasant. Or cheap.
But whatever. I’m happy, cuz I get to move everything tomorrow, and I get to buy a couch tomorrow too. :)
So, what did I buy?
Curtains. I have two windows in this apartment. And they’re wide open. Everytime I change I’m afraid someone’s gonna be looking from the houses accross. The thing is, they’re white. Ikea white. So they’re sort of see through.
A shower corner thingie. I’m a girl. I need to put all those pots and containers somewhere.
A spice rack. I sort of need to put the ‘spices’ somewhere. But now that I think about it, I don’t cook much, and I don’t have that many spices. Oh well.
Mirrors. Uhm, well yeah.
Candles. Yeah, they had really good smelling candles. Bought like 40.
Other stuff: cutlery container, that paper thing you put on drawers, trim glue/goo, brita water thingie, a small cooking pot (again why?), and cleaning stuff.
