I was ready to cancel.
But then I talked to a nice lady on retentions who got rid of the charge. I assume it was only because I threaten to cancel my cable, internet and wireless. Either way, I was ready to ditch. They have not done anything for me for the last couple of months.
By the way, how come all the good customer service people are in retentions? How come you have to threaten to get something working?
And...they don't want to own up to giving me the...

So there's this $350 charge on my bill...
I decide to call Rogers (my cellphone provider) to check it out. They’re not supposed to charge me for the phone I bought a couple of weeks ago. Supposedly if I tied myself up to a 3 year data plan, I could get my phone Blackberry Flip for 50$.
I call and explain this. The dude tells me “its in the system”.

I didn’t know this, but the php function json_encode() actually adds quotes to any string you encode.
I was submitting some values with Ajax.InPlaceEditor, and in the php side encoding my return string with json_encode. Well, it was returning “value”, and adding it in the div. But the value inserted in the database was not quoted.
